I absolutely LOOOVE this product!!! Underneath my impeccable sew-in, my hair is quite happy to be nappy. I haven't had a perm in about 5 years, and I love the versatility of natural hair. The only thing I dread is blowing it out (my hair is thick as a thicket bush--but I have never seen one, so I imagine that thicket translates to thick) and allowing the hair near my hairline to be free. On a recent trip to Jamaica, I just knew that I was stylin' and profilin' at an all white affair--until I did a bathroom check and saw a peacock/mohawk natural fluff staring back at me, not even trying to look inconspicuous alongside my Indian remy hair. Thank the Lord above that I have an addictive habit of carrying hairpins wherever I go...I pinned that bad boy down and kept it moving!
When I do wear my hair au natural, I love to saturate my hair with Miss Jessie's Curly Pudding for a more relaxed curl look. I also use it in both of my sons' naturally curly hair (me and the hubby aren't too sure where they got their hair from--certainly not either one of us--every now and then, he looks at them and then over to me with a seemingly Maury-esque type look) and it works wonders. My only warning for this product: MOISTURIZE, MOISTURIZE, MOISTURIZE your hair if you use this product. If used solely, it can be extremely drying on the hair. Make sure your condition your hair well and use a daily moisturizing treatment. To purchase the product, you can order directly online or go to the website to find retail locations near you.
So, for my curly headed sisters and brothers (all races/ethnicities included), enjoy this product and have a strictly stylish weekend!

I totally agree about Miss Jessie's products. They have them at naturallycurly.com, and that site has tons of great info about natural hair, to.
I was just talking about this "miracle cream" with my friends! Not only does it work wonders, but it smells SOOOOO good.
I just bought the cream and I love it but you are right. ... MOISTURIZER is a definite need. What kind do you use?
i use the curly buttercream and i don't really have to worry about the drying effect...
